Papilio, Montauban-de-Luchon

My stay at Papilio was absolutely wonderful! The house is nestled in a picturesque area, perfect for peaceful relaxation while still being close enough to town for dining and exploration. The host was genuinely friendly and accommodating, which added so much to our experience. Just a couple of things to note: while we really enjoyed our time, having a car is pretty essential given the spread-out attractions, and don't expect the services of a hotel - it's more like a home away from home.

It's a little challenging to get around without a car, but it's worth it for the peaceful atmosphere. Overall, great value for money considering the amenities.

Having no air conditioning didn't bother us during our stay in early July, but it might be a consideration in hotter months. Overall, it's fantastic value for families or larger groups looking to enjoy the mountains.

The spacious garden and pool provided a perfect setting for both relaxation and play, with plenty of activities for the kids.
