Reviews and Ratings
My stay at Papilio was absolutely wonderful! The house is nestled in a picturesque area, perfect for peaceful relaxation while still being close enough to town for dining and exploration. The host was genuinely friendly and accommodating, which added so much to our experience. Just a couple of things to note: while we really enjoyed our time, having a car is pretty essential given the spread-out attractions, and don't expect the services of a hotel - it's more like a home away from home.
My stay at Papilio was wonderful, characterized by its tranquil mountain setting and the host's warm hospitality. The accommodations were comfortable and well-kept, making it an ideal retreat for relaxation or adventure. It's a little challenging to get around without a car, but it's worth it for the peaceful atmosphere. Overall, great value for money considering the amenities.
I had a wonderful time at Papilio, situated in a beautiful and quiet area that's still close enough to town for convenience. The rooms were impeccably clean and the owner was extremely welcoming and helpful. While the open kitchen was a bit narrow for larger groups, the spacious living areas made up for it. Having no air conditioning didn't bother us during our stay in early July, but it might be a consideration in hotter months. Overall, it's fantastic value for families or larger groups looking to enjoy the mountains.
Our stay at Papilio Luchon was absolutely delightful! The host was wonderfully friendly and made us feel right at home. The spacious garden and pool provided a perfect setting for both relaxation and play, with plenty of activities for the kids. However, the narrow kitchen could be a bit limiting if you plan on cooking a lot, and the lack of air conditioning might be a consideration for some during the warmer months.
I had a wonderful stay at Papilio Luchon, especially for our group of friends. The owner was incredibly welcoming and the house was perfect for our families. The kids had a blast in the garden and pool, while the adults enjoyed the lovely terrace. However, don't expect hotel-type amenities, as it's more of a homey feel. Overall, it was great value for money, and we'd definitely come back again.
